So I'm Tathagat Narula, I'm a transplant pulmonologist. I work in the Division of lung failure and transplant here at Mayo Clinic, Florida. And my primary job entails taking care of patients and their journey from walking in through our doors, you know hopefully through a lung transplant and life beyond. Transplant is a unique field in many regards, and you know patients come to you when they have exhausted most of the medical and surgical options that exist out there. To be able to participate or help somebody in that stage with such extreme illness. And then by Lord's grace, if things go well to be able to become part of their journey at the other side, the joy, the gratification that comes from that is immense. And even within medicine, it's unparalleled in many domains. We are one big team and we are, we have a patient and his needs to address. And none of us in isolation can do it all. But the sum of all these components is much bigger than what each one of us individually brings to the table. And that's this model at Mayo Clinic allows
that to thrive.
