Shelley S. Noland, M.D., is a board-certified hand and peripheral nerve surgeon who provides comprehensive hand and wrist surgical care as well as peripheral nerve surgical care. She is also an Associate Professor of Surgery at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, the Medical Director of the Multi-Disciplinary Peripheral Nerve Clinic, and the Medical Director of the Center for Humanities in Medicine.  

Dr. Noland attended medical school at the Chicago Medical School. She completed residency training at Stanford University and subspecialty training in hand surgery at the University of Washington and in peripheral nerve surgery at Washington University.

Dr. Noland has interest and expertise in hand and wrist surgery, peripheral nerve tumors and surgery, brachial plexus injuries, Dupuytren's contracture, hand, thumb, and wrist osteoarthritis, distal radius fractures, hand and wrist fractures, hand and wrist tendon injuries, schwannoma excision, neurofibroma excision, carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome, among others.
