My name is Parag Patel, I am the chair of the division of advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant here at Mayo Clinic, Florida. I primarily take care of patients with weak hearts that have a diagnosis of
heart failure. Oftentimes we're faced with very challenging patients with no clear solution. And oftentimes we will take a group of people from different specialties, review the case and identify solutions that we think would best help the patient. And that's what's so neat about being at Mayo is that even if we hit a road block, sometimes we find another path towards optimizing patient care. When we have a very
difficult case, we can collaborate with our surgeons, we can collaborate with our pulmonologists, our intensive care physicians and really find a solution.
